My inspiration was my son beginning to play the guitar at 33 years old. I wanted to do something with him that was just ours. He died in 2019 so I've lost that chance. I would like to do this bucket list item anyway to honor his remembrance. While I've played cornet in a community band for decades, I have never read bass clef or played a stringed instrument. I've been pecking away, learning as I go. Life has done nothing but make me more and more determined to do this. Oh, did I mention that I'm left-handed and last year amputated my right index finger?
