I've always been more a 'woods person' than an 'ocean or desert person'. I love the silence of the woods. The smells of moss, bark, pine and living things. I just want to go into the forest, alone and find a very quiet spot where I want to lie on my back on the fallen leaves and/or pine needles and look up at the place where the branches meet, framing the sky high above. Who knows? Perhaps I'll find Alice's rabbit hole, or a secret door to Hobbiton? Perhaps I'll see a teddy bear picnic or meet up with Winnie the Pooh and friends.....woods are so mysterious, so fantastically wonderful...I can't wait! Sharon Halliday Hattingh
