As someone who has a keen love for the environment, as well as a desire to travel this is ideal. I don't want to do the whole passing-through travelling, where you go to a landmark take a few silly pictures and go home. I would love to live with a family or people in the culture, work in that culture, and see what it is really like to live there, aswell as learn new skills, trades and meet wonderful people and hear their stories.
