Drink a wide variety of beers in Germany, preferably Berlin.
I have visited munich, and love beer and red meat, Oktoberfest combines all of these loves
I met a great friend when I lived in Costa Rica. She is from Munich and invited me to one day go to Oktoberfest with her in Germany... and I plan to!

I have Scandinavian/German heritage so I have always wanted to visit my (partial) homeland. Is there a better time to visit other than one of the biggest parties on the planet?

My aunt goes every year, and I've heard that people have a lot of fun there!
We took my grandma on a tour of Germany when I was a kid and my Dad was stationed there. I wanted to go back as an adult.

Got there the day after it was done and the city just seemed so empty. Would love to go back when it's in full swing :)
This just sounds like a good time. It is important as a human being to try and understand the many different cultures that inhabit the earth with you. If drinking gallons or ale is part of that culture so-be-it!
