I am a little bit weak so I would like to become a better runner again.
Run/walk a 5 K. I have a form of Autism and birth injury that crippled my left knee, then 2 years ago I shattered my right leg. But I hiked a 5 K trail with my Fitness/Therapy Center group, and I would like to do an actual 5 K in public for a cause.
I watched documentary on the Sept 11 disaster and I want to run the tunnels to the towers race in honor of those that lost their likes and their family

I was motivated to participate in Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure because I found out one of my professors was diagnosed with breast cancer and it also is the organization that my sorority partners with. I walked the course but I hope to run it sometime soon and run other 5Ks as well!

I've been jogging for the past bit, and really want something to work for. This, the lightest of distance races, seems feasible and a worthwhile goal.
