This was one of the hardest and most expensive things I've ever done. I did not like completing our open water test in basically a mud pit that had little to no visability. It was cold and no suit kept me warm. It was great when we earned it though. I loved doing it in the pool and I loved our instructor Doug. Alice, who was our instructor in Fiji, was basically the female Doug. That experience made it worth it, but honestly you see a lot snorkeling and I don't really know if I'd do too many expensive dives in the future.
