I've done this! I remember once I was in the Carribean with my family from childhood, and my dad climbed a palm tree to get a coconut. Then, we opened it and drank some of the coconut juice! It was delicious! It was, like, the best juice I'd ever had! I've done this since, too, just from coconuts from grocery stores.
